I'm so sorry that it took me this long to let you guys know about Eyson. Things have been hectic for about a week. The surgery went wonderfully. I miss his lip being open, but I know that he is much better. The surgery was 4 hours long and that was the longest 4 hours of my life. It was well worth it. The surgeon did a spectacular job. He had some complications after the surgery with dehydration, but he's okay now. He also developed bronchitis two days after surgery. He's still on his meds and breathing treatments for that. Getting better, though. He just looks so good. I am so happy with the results. I have included two pictures. The first one is him before the surgery so that you can see the work that was done. The second one was taken a couple days ago. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you for your prayers. Heather and the kids.

Now that the first surgery is out of the way, we get to start thinking about the hard one to close his bilateral palate.
