going far from home

I have this awfull fear of going far from my home. I was told that it is due to my rape 2 years ago, but I am in need of getting on with my life. I feel better than I did 1 year ago , but feel I still have a ways to go. It is interfearing with my personal and professional life. If anyone has any ideas of what I can do to over come this fear please reply..... thanks.
