Wow, just now learning how to post in here. My son is 3 years
old and we are living in Okinawa Japan, US forces military base.
My son was 2 mths old when we arrived here. We did not know he
had speech problems. By age two only saying one word at a time
and rarely we sought help. ENT doctors found the palate was not
working properly, took his tonsils out (which were large) and
then we started speech therapy. He is missing consonants and
fricatives but now talking with full sentences, yet he still has
nasal emissions in his speech. Is this going to get worse! I
researched some articles on invisible palates and is this a
possibility, and what more can I do to campaign for him to get
the best diagnosis and therapy possible. Any information
regarding this would be helpful. My email address is
