my son is 9 months now his weight 8 and half kg.
since I'm living in Gaza and Gaza is closed h can not go to Cairo or Jordon to do his surgery repair. hm too worry and want to know the best age to do the surgery since he had soft and hard palate but not involve the ridge of teeth.

I am not sure how things are done in your country, but here in the US, most palate surgeries are done between 9 and 12 months, but some doctors do them sooner or later, it just depends on each individual. Best of luck!

Our son will be 11 months when his repair is done in July. I think this is pretty standard.......

really I'm too worry because surgery is not done well in my city and we are under Israelis sanction.
so i want to know if there is no problem if we delayed the surgery

I think one of the concerns is that delaying the surgery may make it more difficult for the child to learn to talk, and switching to solid food may be more difficult until the surgery has taken place.
