Dentist/Orthodontist

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the dentist/orthodontist on their cleft team. Jackson is scheduled to see them at our next team visit in January.(he will be 18 months) I was just curious what they would be evaluating at such a young age, and what I could expect as far as the exam. I'm thinking that's it's not going to be much fun?!?.........

Eyson saw the cleft team dentist about a month ago. It wasn't really anything in depth so I may not be much help to you. They counted the teeth he had and checked out the cleft in his gum and that was about it. I'm going to ask his PS some more questions on Wednesday when we go back for his post op checkup. I'm hoping to find out a little more on the teeth issue myself.
