plane trip

Postby Bailliejo » Wed Oct 24, 2007 9:30 am

The last week of Nov. we are taking a plane trip to Maryland. I was wondering of my son will have a b\problem with the plane since he has tubes now. Thanks. Oh yeah, Jacob got his stitches out yesterday.

Here's a comment I provided to someone with a similar question a couple weeks ago.

Having something to suck on and swallowing (particularly during take-off and landing) helps equalize the pressure in one's ears.

HI! We travel frequently with my son, who has tubes. We asked the PS about it, and he said that the tubes actually hold the ear open and keep the pressure from building up. So their ears actually feel better than ours! We've made about 8 plane trips with Jackson in the last 4 months, and we haven't had any trouble! Good luck!
