I'm new... just wanted to say hi.

Hello everyone!
I'm new here, and just wanted to say hi to everyone!
My son Ethan was born on April 23, 2007. He was 7lbs 7oz and 20 inches long. He was born with a incomplete unilateral cleft lip. His pallate is just fine... thank goodness.
Ethan has been such a wonderful baby. He has such a loving personality. He LOVES attention. He's definitely a spoiled kid... especially by mom. :) His feedings have been doing wonderfully (using Haaberman feeders). He weighed 12lbs 7 oz at his 2 month appointment.
Ethan has his first surgery on August 8, 2007. I'm a nervous wreck about it... I take one day at a time. I am so nervous about anesthesia and just him going under the knife in general. This first surgery is for the muscle around his lip. His muscle that was supposed to fuse is on the left side and is pulling his left nostril down. So the doctors are going to disconnect it and put the muscle where it should be. The second surgery will be to connect the lip entirely.
I cant wait to get to know everyone... and I hope that I can contribute what I've learned to people who have questions.
Have a great day!
