Hello all!! My name is Christina and I am expecting my second daughter Gabrielle ( Elle) in September . Elle has an upper left cleft lip and possible palate . We are in the Wilmington , NC area . Our first trip to visit with the plastic surgeon will be on the 12 of July in Charlotte . Any words of advice or just questions that I should ask would be greatly appreciated .

My advice is DON"T WORRY!!!! Everything will be fine. I look back at my pregnancy & think to myself, why was I so scared & upset. My baby was my 4th & I didn't know what I was going to do. Everything worked out great. Dino is so special to us & I can't imagine life without him. His cleft changed me for the good. I'm glad I went through what I did.

Good luck & enjoy your pregnancy. You won't know more or can change anything until she is born. Worrying won't do you any good. I know that now. Look up some of my original posts. I was a wreck!
