I am indeed a single mother of three. But I work very hard to provide the best possible life for my children. I even just graduated with my 4-year degree the other day. It's so exciting and it just makes you feel so good about yourself when you're able to accomplish something like that while managing three kids and a full-time job. On top of Eyson having his cleft lip and palate, my oldest son, who is four-years-old, was born with a congenital heart defect. I make quite a few trips to St. Louis to see specialists. I do have one daughter that's two-years-old. She's stuck right in the middle. Thank you for the tip. He has been doing a little better with the eating here lately. If I give him only cereal mixed with apple juice he'll pretty much eat it all. But if it's something like carrots or green beans, there's just no getting it down him. Not even applesauce or peaches. He just likes the cereal I guess. That's fine by me, though. He can eat cereal all the way up until his surgery. His surgeon doesn't want to do it until he's a year old, though. Seems like such a long time. But it's really just around the corner. He's already almost 5 months old. Keep in touch. Heather aka SuperMom (aren't we all, though)

Heather, Congratulations on your graduation! I know you must be very proud of yourself! I have been looking for a chance to go back to school also, but I decided to wait until we have all of Jackson's surgery behind us. I am blessed with a wonderful husband who works very hard to afford me the opportunity to stay at home some with the boys. I definitely do not take it for granted! Good luck with baby Eyson! Jackson's surgery is two weeks from today and I am SO anxious to have it behind us! Keep us posted!
