Surgery tomorrow

Postby heather » Mon Feb 12, 2007 12:59 pm

Hello everyone. Eyson is scheduled to have his lip and nose surgery tomorrow. I'm not going to lie. I am so nervous. The surgeon is very good, but I'm still that mother that will probably lose it when they take him back into surgery. I know that it's for the best, but I just can't help worrying about my little guy. To make matters worse, there is a snow storm that is supposed to be hitting our area tonight. I hope it stays away for at least a couple more days. I want to get him there and back safely. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Heather

Good luck! I hope the snow stays away! thankfully, that's one stress we don't have here, we live in Phoenix!
I was so nervous and emotional with Andy's first surgery...I remember how bad my heart hurt for the little guy like it was yesterday I sobbed like a baby the whole morning.
Heck, I sobbed the month before just thinking about it!
We want pictures as soon as you are able!

Heather,

HUGS!!! I just did this as you know a little over a month ago! and I won't lie either, IT SUCKS!! :| But you will get through it, you have no choice...we took him back to the little triage room, and the anst. took him from me there, it was probably 20 steps or so from the waiting room, I made it back to the waiting room and my Momma was there waiting on me and I just boo hooed, gawd I could cry now. Know this, it will be over with soon, and he will do oh so much better than you.

It will be okay, and he will too. He'll sleep all afternoon, after he gets something to eat. You get some sleep then too, cuz if you are anything like me you haven't slept in the last few days.

Yes can't wait to see pics!! *HUGS* again it will be over soon.
Lots of Love,

Tia

Heather, Eyson will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.Jackson's surgery isn't until April, and I already get that sick feeling in my stomach when I think about it! I wish I had something totally encouraging to say, but just remember that all of this is for Eyson's good and one day soon this will all be behind us! Give him lots of kisses tonight and be sure and let us know how things went! Good Luck!

Heather,

I hope the operation went or is going well.

I am sure that you will quickly become accustomed to a new reality--a perfect baby.

You are in our prayers,
Gregory (10 yoB born with PRS)
