Happy new year!

It has been nice to read about other people who are in the same situation. I am really looking forward to Hilla´s palate surgery. I am nervous of course, but I want it to be over.

Here is more about Hilla http://halkiovave.vuodatus.net

What a beauty! Andy was born in May also and we are talking about scheduling the palate soon too.
I enjoyed your blog, I had many of the same feelings....

Hello and Happy new year!

Andy is as well a sweetie pie. What was Andies homepage address again? I visited there before, but now I can not find it. I also enjoy reading other cletf stories, they always give hope and allows you to feel the way you feel.

Laura..Andy's site is katieandyhatch.blogspot.com
I haven't updated it since before the holidays....but Andy is doing well. They are thinking of doing his palate in February as his plastic surgeon is having a baby in March. Boy do I hope she doesn't come early! I am so dreading another surgery. Hopefully it will be the last one for a while.... Let me know when Hilla gets hers scheduled!

Hi Karen

I feel also strongly that the same surgery (Dr. Jyri Hukki) should close Hilla´s palate also. Usually wide clefts are closed to 9-12 months, so Andy will have it just in time. I will keep my fingers crossed, that Andy won´t get sick or and so on. Hilla´s palate surgery will be much later, maybe in May or June.

Please, keep me updated about Andy´s palate surgery.

Laura, Hilla's lip repair looks great! We are also facing our palate repair in March or April. I am so anxious to have it behind us, but not looking forward to it at all! Hilla looks like she is very healthy and happy! I wouldn't worry too much about her being on the smaller side. My little one has always been small too, but the way I look at it, is that he will probably catch up after his surgery! They grow too fast anyway!

I know, time does not fly when you are waiting for surgery to be over. Baby Jackson looks cute, he also looks very outgoing, he will probably brake many hearts;)

Laura the photos of Hilla are great she is a sweet heart. I am glad all is well. Don't worry about them saying she's a little small each & every baby is different. Makes me wonder what they would say about Evan he weighed it @ 9.890kgs yesterday. I agree with Alison they do grow up way too fast. I often wonder where my baby has gone as I watch Evan crawl & call out mum. Try not to think about palate surgery it is still a while off yet. Take Care & keep us posted.
