Emily's Update

Postby 06SIXLITER » Sat Dec 02, 2006 11:51 pm

First of all the folks at UNC are great. Emily is doing well, she is eating allot better then she was. She is now up to almost 3 oz's every feeding. The pigeon nipples saved the day! We don't need to see the specialist at UNC again until mid/late Jan. For some that don't know. I am from NC and on 11/07/2006 our wonderful baby girl was born (to our surprise) with a soft cleft palate. She was having trouble eating only 5mil's every feed but since has come around and is gaining weight and is doing very well..

Thanks for taking the time to read our story.

Nice to see Emily is doing well & gaining weight. It feels good when they say they have gained some weight. Evan took a little time to get there now @ 7 months old he is over 9 kg. Good luck with Emily
