Off to hospital tomorrow

Postby Jude2 » Sat Oct 21, 2006 6:36 am

Cant believe it's nearly here. We are all off to Rome tomorrow to check in to hospital then tests monday and surgery tuesday 24th. Feel sick a lot of the time now. Hope to God I can cope and son isnt in too much pain. Doing both lip and palate repair so feeding will be a nightmare. Keep your fingers crossed and thanks for all the advice and help so far.

Postby Jude2 » Mon Oct 30, 2006 3:32 pm

Just arrived back from a week in hospital with baby. had op and looks really good. Getting back to normal in mood, so glad to be out of hospital. Thanks for good wishes. He is drinking loads of milk and must be the only cl/p baby to put on weight in hospital...... fingers crossed he will keep improving.

new parent

Postby john.shimp » Tue Oct 31, 2006 4:47 pm

Hey guys I am a new parent of twin boys, one was born with a cleft palate. Just poking my nose around the Internet looking for info. Good luck with all the surgeries.

I want to post pictures by do not know how to.

I am in the Army and me and my wife are using UAB, in Birmingham, as our Primary care.
