pigeon

Postby babycole » Thu Sep 14, 2006 7:58 pm

We really liked the pigeon bottles. We tried everything. He controls the amount he gets. Also it is nice because they are not as expensive and look like normal bottles.

Congratulations! We use the haberman, but we were supplied with two at birth and then when we went to Childrens hospital for her 1 week consult regarding her cleft, they gave us two more, all i had to do was ask. And i guess as long as she is going there they will give me more nipples, she actually doesnt use the bottle part of it, we use a regular bottle, it leaks a little around the collar but we tie a rubber band and a napkin around it and it works great! Vada has gained quite a bit since learning how to use the haberman correctly. I would reccomend it but the most important thing is to find what baby is comfortable using, and go from there.

Maria,
You can get the Medela 150ml bottles to fit on the haberman nipples and they don't leak at all.

Maria,
You can order them online... here's one example but search haberman feeders and maybe you can find a place to get them in your area. That's how I found a local place for me.

I was just looking a little bit more and here is a site where you can just buy the bottle for 3 dollars if you don't need the actual nipple. They also have the other parts that you can purchase separately as well. Hope this helps.

Carrie-
Thank you for the sites. I was looking and the bottles that came with my breast pump are the bottles that fit! So i dug them out (i am not pumping anymore, doctors orders) and they fit perfect! Thanks again!
