bone graft surgery

I am new to this group. My daughter is 8 yrs old, she was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. She will be having her bone graft surgery next month and I am trying to find out more info about the surgery and what to expect after wards. I looked at the cleft lip and palate foundation website for info, but they could only tell me about the surgery and the purpose of it, but not what to expect. can anyone tell me what might happen after wards. and any suggestions on how to help with the care.
