questions to ask

Hi there. My 6mo old daugter has a soft palate cleft .We will be meeting with her plastic surgeon next week to determine when the repair will be done. I am writing a list of questions to ask and would love for some of you experienced parents to give suggestions on what to ask. Hind sight and all. Things that you were not expecting or info that would be helpful going into surgery. I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.
