Hi! I am 14 years old and i am wondering is there any other
teenagers out there with a cleft lip and palate i would love to
talk to you because there is realy no one else to talk to they
don't know what you really feel like

I am now 24, but I remember my teen years all too well. I was
born without a bone in my nose, and had several surgeries to
correct it. And, with the surgeries came scarring. I remember how
difficult teen years were, especially when kids don't always have
the mental capacity to see you as your person and not just your
scar. I know you asked to speak with a teen, but if you would
like to talk with me, I can relate with where your coming from. I
just wish I would have had the opportunity to speak with someone
with first hand knowledge of what I was going through at your
