I'm posting for a 31 year old friend who has a cleft paate.
She has a daughter of 10 years. She has never had a job but has
some education. She is on welfare but with the new rules she
won't be long. The question is where can she get help to further
her education so she can get a job? Or better where can she get
help to repair her cleft palate? Please email me any info so I
can foward it.

Try Operation Smile. They are doing a nationwide blitz to do
cleft lip and palate repairs. Find out if they will be coming to
a city near you. If it is a necessary procedure, they will repair
adults as I understand. It is definitely worth a try.
