scar revision surgery

My 4 year old son Erik, is going to have scar revision
surgery in October & I was wondering if what other parents
have to say about the surgery & how it affected their
children. I know the Dr. can tell you things but it is not the
same when the child is yours. How long was the recovery period,
how much pain your child was in compared to the other surgeries.
I jsut like to know about other experiences. How long did they
stay home from school & questions like that. Thanks, Lori
