Speach Therapy - School Problems

I am a mother of an 8 year boy in 3rd grade who has a
unilateral cleft lip and a bilateral cleft palate. My son has
been in speech therapy since he was 3 years old and has
progressed well. I just came from a special education meeting
where the head administrator is trying to get him out of the
program because she feels his speech is "good enough".
The therapist, and myself still feel he has a ways to go. I have
managed to stall her decision until the beginning of November. If
anybody has any ideas, similar experiences, anything that will
give me ammunition for this meeting that will keep him this
program which he needs please contact me ASAP.
