lip switch surgery

I am 29 years old and am about to have the lip switch
surgery-- apparently to correct my corrective surgery from 29
years ago. I have bilateral lip and palate clefts. I have had
extensive surgery for repairs and had major reconstructive jaw
surgery in 1991. (Leforte II, and bilateral sagittal splits.)
Does anyone know anything about the Abbe (sp?) flap surgery and
if anyone has had it, are you happy with the results. This is the
last surgery that has been recommended to me. At least as far as
I can recall. Wish me luck.
