STUFFINESS AFTER PHARYNGEAL FLAP

My son had this surgery in May, 2000. His speech has improved
greatlty but he is often stuffed up - winter and summer. He has
been tested for allergies and has none. Has anyone experienced this?
Will he grow out of it? When he wears the nose strips athletes wear
he sounds fine.
