Giving a speech/discussion on Cleft Lip and Palate

I attend a group every other thursday for women who are pregnant and Postpartum mothers up until their child is a year old.
They want me to make/have a speech/discussion about cleft lip and palate which I think is a wonderful thing to do however I am wondering exactly
I have never done this sort of thing before. What do you all think I should include in this speech/discussion??
