Posted: Sat May 27, 2000 7:12 pmUnless you ise Dr. Magee when it can be as young as 3 days!! He is the only one I know that does it before 10 months. He repaired my son's bilateral complete lip at 12 days and palate at 3 months.

Posted: Sat Jun 03, 2000 10:00 pmIt depends on your surgeon, and YOU! Our surgeon said that they repair the cleft anywhere from 6m to 1 1/2 years. So we fought for 6m. Once we talked to our surgeon about it, he was willing to move up the date. Sometimes you just have to ask!!
