Special Care Nurseries

Postby dlusk@carolina.rr.com » Thu Dec 30, 1999 12:37 pm

Both my wife and I work and unfortunately require dual income support to make ends meet. I live in Charlotte, NC and am looking for a nursery that may accommodate my son's feeding needs (via G-tube). I have contacted a few support groups, but so far .... no real answers !! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!

you may just want to check around some daycare centers. i was born with the cleft palate myself. i used to be a daycare teacher at a center,we had a toddler that had to have the butterfly tube for feeding.she required special attention but we gave it to her. i dont know how old your child is,but in the infant or toddler rooms where there are less children, they hopefully should accomadate. its worth a try.
