Haberman Bottle.....A SAVIOR!

Postby Chasemice@aol.com » Thu Jul 15, 1999 3:37 am

ewwwwwwww, it angers me when i remember....My daughter was
born with Pierre Robin Syndrome, and they sent me home with the
squeezable bottle. The poor child was losing weight, and looked
so sad and scrawny. Any cals she took in, were used up in her sad
attempts to eat.

Now ,why wasnt I offered the Haberman bottle? I dont know! I
was feeding this child every hour! Well, I get desperate, and I
go to I keep seeking more opinions on her. And God bless the
woman I found (a speech therapist) who gives me a haberman
bottle. My little Amanda starts gaining weight right away, and it
was God sent! I am so afraid that this might happen again to
another poor child. My child had developmental delay, and i
believe it wouldnt of occured, if I had had the Haberman from the
start!

I am so happy for you. It is really great when you find the
right people to help you get the thing done that need done. I was
given a glass bottle in the hospital for my son , who was born
with a cleft upper lip and pallet. Good Luck and if I can help in
any way please E-mail me at aahmom@aol.com
