Good surgeons/teams in Texas?

My sister was born with severe cleft lip/palate and nose
deformities. She was not properly treated in the early childhood
and have subsequently suffered for 28 years.



We are hoping to find a good surgeon/team in central Texas to
see if there is any hope to improve her facial appearance and
hopefully bring her a new life. I will very appreciate if anyone
knows some good surgeons/teams and kindly give me some
information.

There are a number of good surgeons in Central Texas, but if
you want a great surgeon AND team, my vote has to go to the
F.A.C.E.S. team in San Antonio. Dr. Martin Smith is the plastic
surgeon that heads up that team. His phone number is
210/614-9701. Dr. Smith did the repair of my son's cleft lip and
palate and the team regularly sees my son for follow-up
appointments. They're wonderful. I also know that Dr. Salyer in
Dallas has a good reputation for repairs such these and I have
several friends who have been very happy with him. You could also
consult the Austin Smiles group for referrals in Central Texas. I
don't remember their URL, but you can search for Austin Smiles on
