20 yr old cleft lip/palate

I've just had surgery to help fix my massive underbite. It's a
new procedure, but it worked very well. Next fall I'm planning on
having a bone graft done. Parents that have questions or want to
talk are welcome to write me. Also any kids that want to write me

I just wanted to say that I got a bone graph when I was in
grade 5 (I'm in grade 9 now) I also was sopoosed to get the jaw
thing done but the braces fixed that problem! Good luck in the
furture...

I'm glad that all worked well for you. I need your opinion
regarding my son. He's 3 years old and was born with a cleft lip.
We had corrective surgery done when he was 4months but now my
husband wants to have some touch up surgery done now before he
goes to school. I say it's not that bad and to wait until my son
wants to have something done. How do you feel about this??? Since
you are a young person, I feel you can give a straight answer.
