I am 17 weeks pg and did smoke early in pg, I read there is an increased risk when you smoke and scared. Do any of you having children with cleft, smoke?

i did smoke when i was pg and also did with my other two children. i had a neonatalgist tell me that he wishes he could tell me it was from smoking, but he couldnt. If I was you and had it to do over again i would quit anyway. It is not worth it no matter what the outcome. My son has a unilateral cleft lip/palate and is now a month old and doing great.

Good Luck I Hope This Helps You

Quit for you and your baby you'll feel better.
