Kidney Infection medicine, a possable cause?

Postby 5jbrowns@telus.net » Tue Mar 21, 2000 12:21 am

We have a 3 year old that was born with a cleft palate. We have just heard from a friend in the medical industry that certain kidney infection medicines may cause cleft palates in unborn children. This is the case with us, the kidney infection medicine was given to my wife when she was pregnant. does anyone have any more information to help us?
Thank you.

Hi,

I am researching the link between my son's cleft and asthma medicine prescribed to me while I was pregnant. A good site to visit is Mayohealth.com for info on the drug.

In my case the benefit did not outweigh the risk. Read the fine print and find out what category the medicine is...a, b...c...

Email me at JV5894@AOL.COM and I can explain more detailed info...

Hope this helps.

Hi Vicki,

My Aunt is suffering from kidney infection and backache. What medicine do you know it can help her to feel better.

Sincerely,

Dante
