Sphincter Flap

Help, I need info reguarding this procedure. My 18 mon. old son is facing this procedure or Pharyngeal Flap surgery. I haven't read too much on the Sphincter Flap and would appreciate hearing from someone who has been through this. Thanks, Joyce Bentz
