Living with Cleft Lip and Palate

Hi,
Living with Cleft lip and palate has not been easy. I am 25 and am still having a hard time of it. When I was 16, I finally had enough of having to put up with rude comments from schoolmates and more that I decided to go forward with the rest of the suguries to "fix" the cleft lip and palate. It was the best decision I had ever made. Although I can still see the scar below the nose, I do look 100% better and feel better about myself. Still, I have my bad days where I wish that I had not been born with such a crushing thing, but hey, what can ya do. Deal with it. LOL. Anyway, I am glad that I finally found a site that I can come to talk about it and get some things off my mind.
